My follow judges Steve Tierney - Town Mayor , Trevor Longmuir The Beadle and  Paul Richardson a journalist from the Fenland Citizen and I judged the windows on the first day of the Rose Fair last Wednesday the 28th of June  and it was very wet but we enjoyed looking at all the displays.

I was very pleased by all the time and effort all the competitors put in to make such fabulous displays they seem to get better and better every year I think this year was my 4th time of judging them.

I am sure both residents and visitors to the town also enjoyed the fantastic displays.

It was very difficult to pick a winner the top 3 were – Coakleys Opticians, Sense and the British Red Cross – eventually we decided on the British Red Cross as the winner.

Thank you all again
